Of that, I couldn't be more sure!

Sing aloud like you don't really care
And fly like a bird up in the air...

It's another day, a brand new show
So spread your smiles

Reminisces Colors of September - For "Che Puewara"

It's almost the end of the month
And then I go back in time and remember
Twas a year ago when began
The Colors of September..

It started with a calendar that needed some coloring
A conversation between 2 friends that seemed to go nowhere to others
But to us, as good a conversation as any
'Cause the whole situation was ridiculously funny.

It then became clear
That when like minds meet
Words don't need to be spoken, which by the way
Is no easy feat!

So for my friend who I share so much with
I'm happy our paths have crossed
You're creative and just plain nice
And have the most soothing voice

I love that we look at the little things in life
And simply rejoice!!

So, this one's for Che, my patient, loving friend
Who in any situation
For himself and others, can fend..

Carry on Che and may you be happy always
'Cause when you're around
You're warmer than the suns rays...

The Nicest Chauffeur

Rainbows and flowers that add color to our lives
Friends and family that make everything worthwhile
And as they say, "The Best Things in Life Are Free"
Enjoy life's little treasures and you'll be happy to just BE!

The feel of the rain on your face
A kiss or a warm embrace
A gentle and loving look
The tinking sound of a flowing brook

This is just a taste of what life has to offer

Out the Door

You say you love me but you don't give a damn..
You don't even make an effort to know who I am.
I know you have troubles but so do I
And if you know that, then why do you still make me cry?
My heart bleeds for some tender love and affection
Instead what I get, is more rejection.
There's not much more I can handle
Of that I am sure..
So, if you won't make the effort to be and take care of me
It won't be long till I'm out the door!

Too Late

We don't know what we have till it's gone
And then the thought comes to us, "wtf was going on?"
Was I blind to it all or did I just choose not to see?
I was loved and adored just for being Me...
Why did I not fight my insecurities and fears
Cuz now all I'm left with, is nothing but tears..

Sanity

The Sky is dark, the future looks bleak
Panic reigns supreme in every street
There's murder and mayhem anywhere you glance
And I look for an opportunity
That one Golden chance
A chance to be wild, crazy and free
Anything to cut loose from what everyone else calls Sanity!

The Abyss

Darkness envelops me and swallows me whole

My mind begins screaming like a tormented soul

I scramble around looking for something to grope

Something, anything, that will give me hope...

But chaos is king and my mind is a riot

And I see myself giving up the fight

So I sink down further, into the deep abyss

And I think to myself, there's nothing to miss...

Friday 2 (Self Pity? I think not...)

Tragic stories and hearts breaks are somethings
That are perhaps common to us all
But what we don't get to hear enough of
Is how we pick ourselves up whenever we fall...
Things will go wrong
And that's part of the plan
What He's waiting to see
Is if we give in and pity our state or take a stand?
So pick yourself up and hold your head high
Coz we're better than self-pity, You and I....

Thursday 2

The Sky seems at night to be a black hole
The wind howls in the distance, teasing and taunting me
Do I give in and simply let go?
Or do I stay and fight to give it my all and more!
I linger a while longer
Trying to decide what to do
And come to the realization
That it's in my hands to change my fate
So I stay back and fight
And revel in in the fact that it's just me
That can set things right!

"Wensday 2" (Jumpstart)

A day for laughter, a day for fun
A day for smiles, and hugs for everyone.
Try any of these or perhaps all the above
And you'll be soaring all day
Just like a dove....
So, jumpstart your day
With a hug or a kiss..
And be happy in the thought
That after that, nothing much can go amiss...

Tuesday2 (A Brand New Day)

It's a brand new day, a fresh new start
A day to heal old wounds and have a new beginning.
A day to let go of grudges
And let love and peace enter your heart.

The opportunity to be happy
Is with you every minute of every day
So make the most of it
And spread smiles and love on this lovely "Toosday!"

How Do you know?

How do you know when you're in love?
Is it the twinke in your eye when you see them,
Is it a flutter in your belly every time you touch?
Do you sometimes sigh deeply
When you realize that you love them so much?
If it's one or the other
Or perhaps all the above..
You're lucky and in love, and just Happy to Be!
So enjoy the feeling and let your heart soar

As I stare at the Serpents of Fire
Flicking their mocking tongues at me
I see their sad souls
But wait! I see that it's me...
Dancing around with souls of the same kind
It's times like this when I want to free my mind
Will the soothing wind put me out gently
Or will it set me further ablaze....

Friday 1(Grey Skies)

The sky is all cloudy, gloomy and grey
But it's amazing to watch God's fireworks on display.
Rumbles of thunder, flashes of lightning
For some, these may be a bit frightening
If that be the case, be frightened no more
'Cause if you have faith, you'll be safe and secure
So smile and watch the grey skies in all their splendour
Stuff like this doesn't last forever
