A 1st year Anniversary Wish

As I was taking a walk down memory lane
I thought about a number of things
About what I could say to you on our 1 year together
I decided I’d pen a few words that I hope will last forever

I thought about how I love the way you shake your tush
The eyebrows I love so – that are like a well trimmed bush
Your voice so deep filled with confidence and love
Coz I can’t think of anything that matches that, unless it’s from above

I love that you support me in all that I do
Makes me proud to be with a self made man like you
I love you for the little surprises that you throw my way
Sometimes it shows me how u feel about me better than words could say

Before you get carried and swayed away
By all the wonderful things you think I’m going to say
Please be warned that it’s not all nice
Coz sometimes you can be cold as ice

It hurts when you don’t talk or listen to me
Coz it seems that your temper will last for an eternity
But through it all, I love you so
And with each passing day, it only gets more

So, I end this short attempt at a rhyme
Glad in the thought that forever, you’ll be mine
I dream of days and nights when we walk hand in hand
In the moonlight on the beach in soft silky sands…
